Accessories Recommended by the Mighty Community

  • AfterShokz Trekz Titanium

  • Beats Solo3 - I use Beats Solo3. The initial pairing process was easy and they automatically reconnect to Mighty every time. The sound quality is great, the volume gets louder than my iPhone, and all of the headphone volume and track controls work. - Anthony Mendelson (CEO)

  • Jaybird X4“My Mighty is the ultimate running companion and I bring my X4s with every time. They have worked seamlessly since the first pairing and I have never had choppy playback or a dropped connection. Incredibly stable.” - Charlie Prutting (Director of Operations)

  • JBL Reflect Mini

  • Skullcandy Jib Wireless

  • Sony MDR - “I have my Sony headphones paired with my Mighty and it's been the best marriage of headphones+music player ever! Pairing is easy, and auto-reconnecting them is rudimentary. Music controls work great, but I find it best to control playback through the Mighty instead, as I find it annoying every time I tap on my earpieces to change tracks. Bluetooth range is excellent too. I left my Mighty at home once and only realized it when I got out the gate and the music cut off.” - Al Ricci (Community Manager)

Accessories with Known Issues or Quirks

  • AirPods - In crowded environments, Mighty may lose its connection to the AirPods and playback will stop. To restart playback, put the AirPods in their case and close the top, then open the case and take the AirPods out. You will hear a chime through the AirPods to indicate that that connection has been re-established. If that doesn't restart playback, then power Mighty off and on and wait for the connection chime.

We are working on a firmware update that will resolve the connection issue. We expect to release the update in May 2019.

  • Jabra EliteIgnore the Jabra audio prompt that instructs you to pair your headphones with your mobile device. You will not be able to pair your headphones with Mighty if they are already paired with your mobile device. Leave the headphones in pairing mode, then search for them in the Mighty app.

  • Jaybird X3 - Ignore the Jabra audio prompt that instructs you to pair your headphones with your mobile device. You will not be able to pair your headphones with Mighty if they are already paired with your mobile device. Leave the headphones in pairing mode, then search for them in the Mighty app.

  • Plantronics BackBeat - Audio doesn't play when Mighty is connected to Plantronics BackBeat headphones. This issue has been resolved with firmware version 1.98. To check that you have the latest firmware version installed please select 'Software Update' from the Settings of the app. Please contact us at heyo@bemighty.com if you have any issues.

  • Phaiser - Audio doesn't play when Mighty is connected to certain models of Phaiser headphones. To enable music playback, turn the headphones off and back on and wait to hear a chime which indicates that the connection has been established. A firmware update that resolves this issue will be released in April 2019.
